New Stuff

I have a new computer. Had no choice really, my old one bit the dust unexpectedly due to a hard drive failure. Fortunately, all of my crap was mostly backed up but I did end up with some corrupted email files. That’s life, right? It’s hard to complain about the bad stuff when almost everything came out on the other end perfectly okay.

This is the first time I’ve had a computer/hardware failure where I didn’t lose any writing. This is all thanks to the fact that I store my writing on Google Drive these days. It makes it easier to access from my desktop and laptop AND the added bonus having it online means that I’m essentially backing it up in three places. My back up drive also worked like a dream and I’m considering my own personal cloud drive. At any rate, I have a new computer and I hate Windows Updates.

I also hate the new version of Microsoft Office. I never should’ve upgraded. I’m utterly unthrilled with the layout and the fact that I can’t edit in “read” mode. It sucks.

That’s about all I have to bitch about so, catch you later.

I just read A Rainy Night in an anthology and it left me hanging with a “to be continued”. Have you continued this book? If so, what is the title?

    1. I’ve one planned but I’m sort of going through a dry spot on the writing front.

        have you written it yet?

        1. Apologies, my site spammed your comment for some reason and I didn’t notice. No, not yet. I lost the plot work I did for it and I’ve had to reconstruct that it feels off so I need to think about it a bit.
